Kelly Clarkson has been killing it in the covers department lately.

Well, she kind of always has, but now that she’s back on tour, we get to experience new covers on a regular basis. She recently dazzled the crowd with Tori Kelly’s ‘Nobody Love,’ and killed Rihanna’s ‘BBHMM.’

But Kelly isn’t the only artist who can slay another artist’s song — from Ed Sheeran to Demi Lovato to Sam Smith, there are countless covers that are worthy of a listen. So sit back and enjoy 23 reimagingings and decide for yourself if they’re just as good — or better — than the originals.

1. Kelly Clarkson: “Jealous”- Nick Jonas

Nick wasn’t jealous of this cover of his track, in fact, he “loved” it.

2. Nick Jonas: “Lay Me Down”- Sam Smith

You should probably lie down while listening because this will make you weak in the knees.

3. Ed Sheeran: “Trap Queen”- Fetty Wap

The king of covers strikes again with this gem.

4. Demi Lovato: “Give Me Love” – Ed Sheeran

This is just so hauntingly perfect, it will give you chills.

5. Selena Gomez: “…Baby One More Time” – Britney Spears

I must confess… I’m obsessed with this.

6. Taylor Swift: “Riptide”- Vance Joy

A perfect piano cover, unfortunately no Taylor head-banging was involved.

7. Sam Smith: “How Will I Know” – Whitney Houston

Warning: Tears will be shed listening to Sam turn this upbeat track into a heartbreaking ballad.

8. 5SOS: “Teenage Dream” – Katy Perry

This is what teenage dreams are made of.

9. One Direction: “Use Somebody” – Kings Of Leon

From boy band to rock band.

10. Tori Kelly: “The Only Exception” – Paramore

Tori totally nails this cover, breaking out her acoustic guitar and making it a song that is all her own.

11. Lady Gaga: “Imagine” – John Lennon

Imagine this sounding any better, because I can’t.

12. Fifth Harmony: “They Don’t Know About Us” – One Direction

5H + 1D = dreams made.

13. Ellie Goulding: “Take Me To Church” – Hozier

Preach it, girl!

14. Ariana Grande: “I Have Nothing” – Whitney Houston

I’m literally nothing after listening to this.

15. Miley Cyrus: “Jolene” – Dolly Parton

Godmother Dolly is probably so proud of this backyard session

16. Lorde: “Don’t Tell Em’” – Jeremih

Lorde slowed it down, added some of her sassiness and turned this into a song you want to tell everyone about.

17. Thirty Seconds To Mars: “Stay” – Rihanna

Jared Leto turned this song into a brooding rock anthem that will give you all the feels.

18. Florence and The Machine: “Take Care” – Drake feat. Rihanna

Is there anything that she can’t sing? I don’t think so.

19. Meghan Trainor: “Shake It Off” – Taylor Swift

Meghan slows it down, breaks out her ukulele and never misses a beat.

20. Shawn Mendes: “Summertime Sadness” – Lana Del Ray

Something big is happening during this cover, which shows off his seriously impressive vocals.

21. Justin Bieber: “I’ll Make Love To You” – Boyz II Men

Take a listen for an instant reminder of why he’s one of the biggest pop stars in the world — because his vocals are on point.

22. Little Mix: “We Are Young” – Fun.

The girls sprinkled a little bit of their “Black Magic” on this song, slowing it down and making it an acoustic ballad that perfectly blends all of their flawless voices.

23. Jay Z: “Wonderwall” – Oasis

Had to include this because it’s simply amazing.
